About the event

Karen Reddington-Hughes, Abrash Galleries Rugs and Antiques of Woodbury, will present “Oriental Rugs and the Stories They Tell” in James Morris Reading Room, 4 North Street in Morris, on Thursday, December 1, at 6:30 PM.

The speaker will share many stories and tales of the oriental rugs from China, India, Iran (Persian), Afghanistan and Turkey. Karen will bring an assortment of textiles to show to the audience. The patrons will be able to explore the rugs by feeling their different textures.

This is a collaborative event of the Morris Public Library and James Morris Reading Room and Museum.
