5TH GRADE TEA

On May 16, 1937, two teachers from the James Morris School held a tea in the Reading Room for the mothers of their pupils. Inspired by this event, the Reading Room Committee now hosts an annual tea of their own to celebrate James Morris School's graduating class. Visiting students are treated to a high tea ceremony while they learn about Morris's rich history from local historians and community members.
